Low Bridge, Everybody Down!

The Grande Mariner (and all Blount Cruise ships) are specially designed to fit through the Erie Canal locks and under its many low bridges. For some of these bridges, there is normally less than a foot to spare as we glide underneath. However, heavy rains raised the water, and we have come to a bridge that is too low. We are now tied up just outside Schenectady, waiting for the water level to go down.
